We believe in being straightforward about how we handle your data. This page describes our current security practices, the standards we work towards, and how your information flows through our systems. We're a growing company and we're honest about where we are today.

Standards We Work To

We don't hold formal security certifications at this stage, but we take data protection seriously and align our practices with established standards:

• GDPR Compliance: We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Users can access, correct, export, or delete their data at any time through the app.
• UK Data Protection Act 2018: We comply with UK data protection requirements for users based in the United Kingdom.
• Encryption: All data is transmitted over HTTPS using TLS encryption. Data at rest is protected by our infrastructure providers' encryption standards.
• Payment Security: We do not store credit card numbers or financial details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
• Access Controls: Application access is managed through authenticated sessions. Administrative access is limited to authorised personnel.
• Continuous Improvement: We regularly review our security practices and aim to pursue formal certifications as our scale warrants it.

How Your Data Is Handled

Data Collection

We collect only what's needed to provide our services. For LifeScope, this includes account information (email, name), health and nutrition data you enter or sync, and meal photos you choose to analyse. We don't collect data in the background or access information beyond what you explicitly provide.

Third-Party Integrations

When you connect services like Strava, WHOOP, or Fitbit:

• You explicitly authorise the connection through the provider's own login screen — we never see your password for these services.
• We store an access token that allows us to sync your activity data. This token can only access the specific data scopes you approved.
• You can disconnect any integration instantly from the Integrations page. We revoke the stored token and stop syncing.
• We do not share your integration data with other third parties.

AI Processing

When you take a meal photo for nutritional analysis, the image is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. According to OpenAI's API data usage policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. We store the nutritional results with your food diary; the original photo is stored as part of your meal record.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data — including events, nutrition records, integration tokens, and preferences — is permanently removed. There is no recovery after deletion.

Service Providers

We use the following third-party services:

• Base44: Application hosting and database with appropriate security measures.
• OpenAI: AI meal photo analysis. Images processed via API, not used for model training.
• Stripe: Payment processing. PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We never handle card details.
• Strava, WHOOP, Fitbit, Google Fit: Optional fitness integrations, data flows only when authorised.

We select providers with appropriate security practices, but we rely on their security measures for the portions of data they handle.

Your Controls

• View your data: All health, nutrition, and activity data is visible in the app.
• Disconnect integrations: Remove connected services instantly.
• Delete your account: Permanently remove all data through Profile settings.
• Marketing preferences: Manage communications from your Profile. Opt out any time.

Incident Response

In the event of a data breach, we commit to notifying affected users within 72 hours in line with GDPR requirements, with clear information about what happened, what data was affected, and what steps we're taking.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share with:

• Service Providers: Cloud hosting, AI analysis (OpenAI), payments (Stripe).
• Connected Services: Per their privacy policies when you authorise.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption. Appropriate technical measures implemented.

6. Data Retention

Retained while your account is active. Delete at any time via app settings.

Not intended for children under 16.

KS Digital operates LifeScope, WireScan, PropertyMap, ImpactAssess, CricketAnalyzer, and PadelBooker.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for account confidentiality and all activities under your account.

4. Payments

Some apps offer free trials then paid subscriptions via Stripe. Cancel any time.

5. Acceptable Use

No unlawful use, unauthorised access, interference, malicious content, or impersonation.

6. Health Disclaimer

LifeScope provides estimates for informational purposes — not medical advice.

7. Intellectual Property

Applications and content owned by KS Digital, protected by IP laws.

8. User Content

You retain ownership. You grant us a licence to process content for the service.

9. Liability

Not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Deletion

Delete account via settings. All data permanently removed.

11. Changes

We may modify terms. Continued use means acceptance.

12. Governing Law

Laws of the UAE and the Emirate of Dubai.
